I love the Rts I am a very independent person and I have to ask people for rides and Rts is always there to get you where you have to go

all I have to say is finally I dont have to sit for an hour in the hot/cold waiting for a bus thats not even on its way yet. This app tells me when its going to where I want and even shows where it is at the moment. Finally. I dont really care about anything else because the bus is my ride for everything. I needed this.

This app is one of the most frustrating and terribly designed transit apps Ive ever used. When I first contacted the developer about their apps unreliability on the Emory/CCTMA route, they first fed me a line about unreliable GPS data. A suspicious answer in itself, but downright infuriating when you realize that they actually control the on-bus hardware! Most of the time it’s tough to blame a transit app for accuracy, but in this case TransLoc controls the entire mess of a system! It’s 2016, “GPS is unreliable, ya know?” is no longer a reasonable excuse for vanishing buses and wildly inaccurate perdiction times. Add to this an incredibly bloated, slow, buggy, dated UI/UX and the result is a completely useless app. (For what it’s worth—Android and iOS are equally terrible, although their SMS functionality is slightly more accurate and has an infinitely better UX) Unfortunately, there aren’t really any alternatives, although I’m pretty sure somebody with a Raspberry Pi, a couple of GPS/cell radios and a few weeks of Code Academy under their belt could blow the entire ecosystem out of the water. </rant>

Great app, I love being able to know exactly when my bus is coming and watching them move on the map. Use it everyday.

I love this app. The information is accurate and up-to-date. Makes writing the bus at thousand times easier.

1. Its really irritating to me that when I have the app open in the background and I switch back to to it it automatically either zooms out to show me all the stations on the map or switch es to another station, especially when it chooses the station right in front of the one I want because of GPS inaccuracy or whatever. 2. People frequently ask me about when the last bus left when Im at stations that are close together or a station thats on several routes. Its be nice if the app shows that. It would also help during times the app cant provide time estimates for whatever reason (traffic, buses deviating of a route because of a temporary detour, etc). 3. I wish I could choose smaller time windows for "notify me". That would be very useful when Im on the bus and am not paying attention to get off at the station I want to. Current minimum I can choose right now is, five minutes, is too long for that. 4. Finding bus stations short names that are used in the text messaging service would be a lot easier if I could see those short names inside the app, maybe inside the balloon that pops up when a station is selected. 5. When theres a temporary detour (construction, road maintenance, accidents, roadblocks, etc) the app doesnt reflect that at all. That is very confusing and it also renders the time estimation feature useless. I understand that consistently updating the routes to show temporary detours may not be easy, so maybe when buses that are not empty consistently deviate off a route every time for a long while can help to automate that. 6. When the GPS tracker of a bus isnt working at least please show me its last known location or its whereabouts. This app is teaching me and other students so I think its safe to say sometimes it does have enough data to assist with affirming and updating the current location of buses.

App crashes when favorites icon is selected. Arrival prediction is not accurate. Missed bus as a result. Difficult to determine route direction for CAT 11, e.g. Signage at stops isnt helpful particularly if bus does a loop.

You can get local maps but no public transit information is available

Now I know exactly when to leave work or home in order to catch the bus!

this app is very easy to use, plus you can now keep track of your buses and where they arE going too.

Wont load any info if it is using a cellular network. Only works if you are connected to Wifi

Im in college and this is a MUST HAVE app if your a student. Its really useful, easy to use, and it makes it easier to get around campus. However sometimes it doesnt work well and doesnt pick up the location of he buses or the prediction time, but after closing out the app and reopening it, it typically works.

Excellent app. One Thing to improve: 1. Inbox Icon on top: not intuitive

Im very happy with this app. Its been spot on for accuracy and predictions each time Ive used it. Improvements Id suggest are it takes a little getting used to the UI. Several design tweaks could go a long way.

This app is just what I needed. Always has up to date arrival information and the ability to send myself arrival alerts is priceless.

Reliable and love it, so far so good!
